On March 30th, the establishment ceremony of Ningbo University Zhejiang Shengneng Energy Storage Underground Space Technology Research Institute was held in the Anzhong Hall, attended by Vice President Yao Juming and Vice President Li Xichen of Shengneng Energy Technology Company.
The person in charge of the enterprise side of the research institute introduced the situation of co construction, stating that the enterprise provides financial and institutional guarantees to ensure the smooth progress of scientific research work. It is hoped that both parties can fully leverage their platform
advantages and solve the domestic and international problems of energy storage underground space development through technological innovation.
The person in charge of the research institute stated that university teachers should "write their papers on the land of our country" and contribute to solving the technical difficulties in China's energy storage industry, building an efficient and safe compressed air energy storage system, and achieving the
"dual carbon" goal by jointly building an energy storage underground space utilization technology research institute.
Li Xichen congratulated the co construction of the research institute and emphasized that it is the first energy storage underground space research institute in China to cooperate with universities and enterprises. The new type of physical energy storage, represented by compressed air energy storage, is a
complex technology that integrates multiple disciplines. School enterprise cooperation can form complementary advantages, accelerate the implementation of scientific research achievements, and promote the combination of scientific research development and national needs.
Yao Juming thanks Shengneng Energy for their trust in the school. He proposed three hopes: firstly, to focus on the industry's "bottleneck" problems, promote the development of energy storage technology, and ensure national energy security; Secondly, in the long run, we need to plan to jointly apply for
national level platforms and awards in the later stage, and use our technological advantages to occupy a broader market; The third is to implement, research products and technologies, and become internationally recognized technical standards and intellectual property rights in the industry.
At the meeting, both sides jointly unveiled the plaque for the Energy Storage Underground Space Technology Research Institute. Experts from CNOOC Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. and Tongji University, as well as relevant leaders and teachers from the school's Science and Technology Achievement
Transformation Center, School of Civil Engineering and Geographic Environment, and Institute of Rock Mechanics, participated.
